- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or cashew)
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or agave
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, blend chickpeas, nut butter, maple syrup, oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips, then spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until edges are set. Center may look slightly soft but will firm as it cools.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares. Enjoy fudgy, protein-rich brownies!
Notes
For extra indulgence, sprinkle more chocolate chips on top before baking. Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for longer.
