Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or cashew)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or agave
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, blend chickpeas, nut butter, maple syrup, oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips, then spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until edges are set. Center may look slightly soft but will firm as it cools.
  5. Cool completely before slicing into squares. Enjoy fudgy, protein-rich brownies!

Notes
