Description
This Tropical Piña Colada Sangria is a fun, fruity twist on traditional sangria—infused with pineapple, coconut, white wine, and a splash of rum. Refreshing and irresistible, it’s made for sipping by the pool or at your next summer gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine (like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup coconut rum (like Malibu)
- 1/4 cup white rum (optional, for extra kick)
- 1/4 cup cream of coconut (like Coco López)
- 1 cup diced fresh pineapple
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- Ice for serving
- Sparkling water or coconut soda, for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the Base: In a large pitcher, combine white wine, pineapple juice, coconut rum, white rum (if using), and cream of coconut. Whisk or stir until smooth.
- Add the Fruit: Stir in pineapple, strawberries, orange, and lime slices.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours to let the flavors blend and the sangria chill.
- Serve: Fill glasses with ice, pour over the sangria, and top with sparkling water or coconut soda if desired. Garnish with pineapple wedges or cocktail umbrellas for flair.
Notes
Shake or stir well before serving, as the cream of coconut can settle. For a creamier texture, add a splash of coconut milk. You can substitute mango, kiwi, or passionfruit for added tropical flavor.
