- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets (or frozen, thawed)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup crushed buttery crackers or breadcrumbs for topping
- 2 tbsp melted butter for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine broccoli, shredded cheddar, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- In a small bowl, combine crushed crackers or breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle over the broccoli mixture.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until casserole is bubbly and topping is golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can add cooked bacon or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor. Use a mix of cheeses for a richer taste.
