- 3 lbs beef short ribs
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish

- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear short ribs on all sides until browned.
- Place ribs into the crockpot.
- Add onion, garlic, beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours.
- Carefully remove ribs and spoon sauce over the top.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes, polenta, or rice. For thicker sauce, remove ribs and simmer sauce on the stovetop for 5–10 minutes.
