Summer Fruit Red Sangria is a refreshing, colorful twist on the classic wine punch, bursting with the season’s best berries, stone fruits, and citrus. Light, vibrant, and easy to make, it’s perfect for BBQs, poolside parties, or breezy evenings on the patio.

- 1 bottle (750ml) light-bodied red wine (like Pinot Noir or Garnacha)
- ½ cup orange liqueur (Cointreau or triple sec)
- ¼ cup brandy (optional for extra depth)
- ½ cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (to taste)
- 1 peach, thinly sliced
- 1 cup strawberries, halved
- ½ cup raspberries
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sparkling water or lemon-lime soda (added before serving)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Mix the Sangria Base: In a large pitcher, combine red wine, orange liqueur, brandy, orange juice, and honey or agave. Stir well until sweetener dissolves.
- Add Summer Fruit: Add peaches, strawberries, raspberries, orange slices, and lemon slices. Gently stir to combine.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours to allow the fruit to infuse the sangria.
- Serve: Just before serving, add sparkling water or soda and ice. Pour into glasses with fruit in each serving.
Notes
Use ripe, seasonal summer fruit for best flavor. Feel free to mix and match with cherries, plums, blueberries, or nectarines. For extra fizz, use lemon-lime soda instead of sparkling water.
