- 16 oz mushrooms, finely chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté mushrooms and garlic until mushrooms are softened and most of the liquid has evaporated, about 5–7 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan, mozzarella, salt, and pepper.
- Fold the sautéed mushrooms and garlic into the cheese mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm with crackers, bread, or veggies.
Notes
For extra flavor, add cooked bacon bits or a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes. Can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving.
