Description

These Strawberry Crunch Cheesecake Tacos are a fun and irresistible dessert featuring crispy cinnamon-sugar taco shells filled with creamy cheesecake filling and topped with sweet strawberry crunch. Perfect for parties, holidays, or when you’re craving a playful and nostalgic treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1012 small flour tortillas
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberry pie filling (or finely chopped fresh strawberries)
  • 1 cup crushed Golden Oreos
  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for crunch coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut tortillas into smaller taco-size circles using a round cutter.
  2. Brush each tortilla with melted butter, then dip in cinnamon sugar.
  3. Flip a muffin tin upside down and drape the tortillas between the cups to form taco shells.
  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until crisp. Let cool completely.
  5. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  6. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy.
  7. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Make the strawberry crunch by mixing crushed Golden Oreos, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, and melted butter.
  9. Pipe cheesecake filling into cooled taco shells.
  10. Spoon strawberry pie filling (or fresh strawberries) on top.
  11. Sprinkle generously with strawberry crunch topping.
  12. Serve immediately or chill for 1–2 hours for a firmer filling.

Notes

For extra crisp shells, bake an additional 2–3 minutes. You can use graham crackers instead of Golden Oreos for a lighter crunch. Store filled tacos in the refrigerator, but keep the shells separate until serving to prevent sogginess.
