  • Author: recipeinspire
  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 20 snowmen truffles 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

These adorable Snowmen Truffles are creamy, rich, and irresistibly festive! Made with a smooth no-bake truffle center and coated in white chocolate, they’re shaped into tiny snowmen that make perfect Christmas treats, gifts, or holiday party desserts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips, melted (for the truffle base)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Coating & Decorations:
  • 2 cups white chocolate melting wafers (for dipping)
  • Mini chocolate chips (eyes & buttons)
  • Orange sprinkles or mini candies (noses)
  • Colored sprinkles, mini M&Ms, or icing pens (scarves & hats)
  • Optional: black icing gel for details

Instructions

  1. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Stir in the melted white chocolate, vanilla, and salt until a thick truffle mixture forms.
  4. Chill the mixture for 30–40 minutes, or until firm enough to shape.
  5. Roll the mixture into small balls: one large ball for the body and a smaller one for the head of each snowman.
  6. Press the head gently onto the body to form a snowman shape.
  7. Freeze shaped snowmen for 20 minutes to firm up.
  8. Melt the white chocolate wafers in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each.
  9. Dip each snowman carefully into the melted white chocolate and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  10. Before the coating sets, add chocolate chip eyes, buttons, and an orange sprinkle nose.
  11. Use icing pens or candies to add scarves, hats, or extra decorations once dried.

Notes

For easier dipping, chill snowmen thoroughly before coating. You can flavor the truffles with peppermint extract, almond extract, or add crushed cookies for variation. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 months.
