  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
  • Mashed potatoes, for serving
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

  5. Remove roast and shred with forks.
  6. Return shredded beef to the slow cooker.
  7. If thicker gravy is desired, stir in cornstarch slurry and cook 10–15 minutes on HIGH.
