These Simple Honey Garlic Chicken Bites are crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. Perfect for a quick dinner or party appetizer! π―π

- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then toss in cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 6β8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same pan, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. SautΓ© for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil (if using). Stir until sauce starts to bubble.
- Return chicken to skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Cook for another 2β3 minutes until sauce thickens and glazes the chicken.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving. Enjoy warm with rice or noodles!
Notes
π‘ Tip: For extra crispiness, double-coat chicken in cornstarch before frying. You can also bake or air fry for a lighter version!
