Ingredients

- 12 oz (340g) fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, water, and maple syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer 8β10 minutes until cranberries are soft and bursting.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor. Add lemon juice, vanilla (if using), and salt. Blend until smooth and silky.
- Transfer to a jar or container. Chill for at least 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy on toast, pancakes, or as a festive spread!
