Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, cook breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble eggs in a skillet until just set.
  4. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a portion of cooked sausage and scrambled eggs onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and optional vegetables.
  6. Roll up from the wide end and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm!
