- 12 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 6 slices beef or turkey bacon, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Optional: parsley for garnish

- Cook pasta in salted water according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
- In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove excess grease if needed.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, Parmesan, cream, and black pepper.
- Add hot pasta to skillet and toss with bacon.
- Remove skillet from heat and quickly stir in egg mixture.
- Add reserved pasta water little by little until sauce becomes creamy and silky.
- Season with salt if needed and garnish before serving.
Notes
Always remove from heat before adding eggs to prevent scrambling. Beef or turkey bacon works perfectly for a halal-friendly version.
