  2. Prepare cream cheese filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla; mix until creamy. Set aside.
  3. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk sugar, oil, and eggs until smooth. Add buttermilk, food coloring, vanilla, and vinegar.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Assemble: Pour half of the red velvet batter into the Bundt pan. Spoon cream cheese filling evenly over the batter. Top with remaining batter and gently swirl with a knife.
