- 8 oz pasta of your choice (linguine, fettuccine, or penne)
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 5β6 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sautΓ© garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add red pepper flakes if using.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Add cooked chicken and pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly with the creamy garlic butter sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately. Optionally, sprinkle extra Parmesan on top.
