Description

These Quick & Delicious Sausage Egg Breakfast Rolls are warm, cheesy, flaky, and perfect for busy mornings. Crescent roll dough is filled with savory sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melty cheese, then baked until golden. A simple grab-and-go breakfast everyone will request again!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • Optional: chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Cook in a nonstick skillet until softly scrambled.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  5. Add a spoonful of sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese to the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Roll each triangle tightly, keeping the filling inside.
  7. Place rolls on the baking sheet and brush tops with melted butter.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Customize by adding sautéed peppers, onions, or swapping cheddar for pepper jack. These rolls freeze well—simply reheat in the oven or air fryer for a quick breakfast!
