- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, pumpkin puree, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and all spices. Gradually fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For extra richness, swirl in a cream cheese mixture before baking. Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
