Description
This Pink Lemonade is the ultimate thirst-quencher — tangy, sweet, and beautifully blushed. Made with real lemons and a splash of fruit juice for color, it’s ready in minutes and guaranteed to brighten any day. Serve it ice-cold for maximum refreshment.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- ½ cup cranberry juice or raspberry juice (for color and flavor)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Juice the Lemons: Squeeze fresh lemons until you have 1 cup of juice. Strain out seeds if needed.
- Make a Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine sugar with 1 cup of the water. Heat until sugar dissolves, then cool.
- Mix It Up: In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, cranberry (or raspberry) juice, simple syrup, and the remaining cold water.
- Chill & Stir: Add ice and stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness to your liking.
- Serve & Garnish: Pour into glasses over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint for a summery touch.
Notes
Swap cranberry juice with pomegranate or strawberry juice for a different pink twist. You can also make it sparkling by replacing some water with club soda or lemon seltzer just before serving.
