Description

This Pina Colada Sangria combines the tropical flavors of pineapple and coconut with crisp white wine for a fun and refreshing cocktail. Perfect for summer parties or a tropical-themed gathering, it’s a sangria twist on the classic Pina Colada.


Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 1/2 cup coconut rum
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup cream of coconut
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional, for garnish)
  • 12 cups club soda or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Mint leaves or pineapple wedges (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine white wine, coconut rum, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut. Stir until smooth and well mixed.
  2. Add pineapple chunks to the pitcher.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Just before serving, add club soda or sparkling water for a fizzy touch.
  5. Serve over ice, and garnish with shredded coconut, mint leaves, or pineapple wedges if desired.

Notes

For a frozen twist, blend with ice for a slushy Pina Colada Sangria. You can also swap the white wine for rosé for a slightly sweeter, pink version.
