Description
This Pina Colada Sangria combines the tropical flavors of pineapple and coconut with crisp white wine for a fun and refreshing cocktail. Perfect for summer parties or a tropical-themed gathering, it’s a sangria twist on the classic Pina Colada.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
- 1/2 cup coconut rum
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup cream of coconut
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional, for garnish)
- 1–2 cups club soda or sparkling water
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Mint leaves or pineapple wedges (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine white wine, coconut rum, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut. Stir until smooth and well mixed.
- Add pineapple chunks to the pitcher.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
- Just before serving, add club soda or sparkling water for a fizzy touch.
- Serve over ice, and garnish with shredded coconut, mint leaves, or pineapple wedges if desired.
Notes
For a frozen twist, blend with ice for a slushy Pina Colada Sangria. You can also swap the white wine for rosé for a slightly sweeter, pink version.
