- 1/4 cup mayonnaise or sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/3 cup red or green pepper jelly
- Crackers, chips, or baguette slices, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the Base: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, mayo (or sour cream), garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Bake: Transfer to a small baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
- Add Jelly: Remove from oven and immediately spoon pepper jelly over the top. Let sit for 2–3 minutes to warm slightly.
- Serve: Serve warm with crackers, chips, or toasted bread.
Notes
Use red or green pepper jelly depending on the season. For extra heat, stir a pinch of cayenne into the cheese mixture. Can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
