Description
These Patriotic Oreo Balls are festive, no-bake treats that are perfect for 4th of July celebrations! Made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and a colorful white chocolate coating, they’re bite-sized, delicious, and super easy to decorate with red, white, and blue sprinkles.
Ingredients
Scale
- 36 Oreo cookies (1 standard package)
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz white chocolate or white candy melts
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles or colored candy melts for decorating
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos: In a food processor or blender, pulse the Oreos into fine crumbs.
- Mix with Cream Cheese: Add softened cream cheese and pulse or stir until fully combined into a thick dough.
- Shape the Balls: Scoop and roll mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the Coating: Melt white chocolate or candy melts according to package instructions.
- Dip and Decorate: Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate using a fork or skewer. Tap off excess and place back on the parchment. Immediately decorate with patriotic sprinkles or drizzle with red and blue melted candy.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes or until the coating is set. Enjoy cold or at room temperature.
Notes
Make ahead and store in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage. Use gel food coloring in melted white chocolate for custom patriotic drizzles!
