  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  2. Remove outer cabbage leaves and slice cabbage into ¾–1 inch thick steaks.
  3. Place cabbage steaks on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Brush both sides of the cabbage steaks generously with the garlic oil mixture.
  6. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and golden with crispy edges.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese during the last 5 minutes if using.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
