  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or deep skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the broth, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Add the dry pasta directly into the pot, ensuring it’s mostly submerged.
  5. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking.
  6. Once pasta is tender and sauce has thickened, stir in the parmesan cheese.
  7. Cook 1–2 more minutes until the sauce becomes creamy and glossy.
  8. Remove from heat and allow pasta to set for a few minutes to thicken.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan before serving.

Notes

💡 For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms, crispy bacon, spinach, or grilled chicken. To make it lighter, replace half of the cream with milk or evaporated milk!
