  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: parsley or red pepper flakes

  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.

  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.

Notes

Add chicken, shrimp, or mushrooms for variety. Use half-and-half for a lighter version.
