- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: parsley or red pepper flakes

- In a large deep skillet or pot, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish and serve hot.
Notes
Add chicken, shrimp, or mushrooms for variety. Use half-and-half for a lighter version.
