- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Chopped pickles or parsley (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In an oven-safe skillet, cook ground beef and onions over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in garlic, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, flour, and baking powder until smooth.
- Pour the batter evenly over the cheesy beef mixture.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and cooked through.
- Let rest 5 minutes before slicing. Top with pickles or parsley if desired.
