- 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line with parchment.
- Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, onion, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Shape meatloaf: Gently mix until just combined. Transfer mixture to the prepared pan and shape evenly.
- Add topping: Spread ketchup over the top and sprinkle with additional Parmesan.
- Bake: Bake uncovered for 50–60 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Rest & serve: Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra moisture, substitute half the ground beef with ground pork. Leftovers make excellent sandwiches the next day.
