- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 oz lo mein or spaghetti noodles
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds

- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 30 seconds.
- In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, cornstarch, and sesame oil.
- Pour sauce into skillet and simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- Toss cooked noodles into the sauce until well coated.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Add broccoli, bell peppers, or snap peas for extra texture. Use ground turkey for a lighter version.
