- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

- Cook pasta: Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
- Season shrimp: Toss shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Sear shrimp: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Combine: Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce. Toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water as needed for a silky consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, use oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes. Add a splash of white wine to the sauce for depth, or swap shrimp for chicken if desired.
