This Lobster Roll Pasta Salad combines all the creamy, buttery, and lemony flavors of a classic lobster roll with the comfort of chilled pasta. It’s the perfect elevated side dish or light summer meal — no bun required!

- 8 oz elbow macaroni or small shells
- 1½ cups cooked lobster meat, chopped
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 stalk celery, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional garnish: lemon zest, more fresh herbs
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
- Make the Dressing: In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Combine: Add cooled pasta, lobster meat, celery, chives, and dill to the bowl. Toss gently until everything is well coated.
- Chill & Serve: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Garnish with extra herbs and lemon zest if desired.
Notes
For extra richness, drizzle with melted butter before serving. Substitute crab or shrimp for a budget-friendly variation. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
