  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (rotini, shells, or penne)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: pickles, ketchup, mustard for serving

  1. In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and chop; set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in beef broth, milk, cheddar soup, and uncooked pasta.
  5. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  6. Stir in shredded cheddar until melted and creamy.
  7. Fold in the crispy bacon, reserving a little for topping.
  8. Serve warm with pickles, ketchup, and mustard if desired.

Notes

For extra cheesiness, add more cheddar or a handful of mozzarella. Ground turkey or chicken also works great as a lighter option.
