- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Optional: fresh parsley or lemon slices for garnish

- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Return chicken to the pan and simmer 5–7 minutes until cooked through (165°F / 74°C).
- Garnish with parsley or lemon slices and serve warm.
Notes
For extra brightness, add a splash of lemon juice just before serving. This dish pairs beautifully with rice, roasted vegetables, or pasta.
