Description
This Lavender Blueberry Lemonade is a refreshing twist on a summer classic—tart, sweet, and infused with floral notes. It’s made with real blueberries, fresh lemon juice, and a homemade lavender syrup that gives this drink its signature calming aroma and soft purple hue.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 3–4 lemons)
- 1/4 cup lavender syrup (store-bought or homemade)
- 2–3 cups cold water or sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Optional: lemon slices, extra blueberries, or lavender sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- Make the Lavender Syrup (if homemade): Simmer 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender for 5 minutes. Let steep, then strain and cool.
- Blend: In a blender, puree blueberries with lemon juice until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother texture.
- Mix: In a pitcher, combine the blueberry-lemon mixture with lavender syrup and water. Stir to combine.
- Chill & Serve: Pour over ice and garnish with fresh lemon slices, blueberries, or lavender sprigs.
Notes
Adjust sweetness and tartness to taste. For a sparkling version, use club soda or lemon-flavored sparkling water. Make it ahead and refrigerate for up to 2 days for a deeper infusion of flavor.
