  • 1 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 bag tortilla chips or pita chips (about 1012 oz)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • Optional: diced tomatoes or pepperoncini for topping

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread half of the tortilla chips on a large baking sheet or oven-safe dish.
  3. Layer half of the cooked Italian sausage over the chips.
  4. Drizzle half of the marinara sauce and sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  5. Repeat with remaining chips, sausage, sauce, and cheeses.
  6. Top with black olives and any optional toppings.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add sautéed bell peppers, mushrooms, or onions between the layers. Serve immediately for the best crunch.
