  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: lemon wedges and fresh parsley for garnish

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.
  2. Prepare crust: In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat salmon: Brush salmon fillets with melted butter or olive oil, then press the Parmesan-panko mixture onto the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake: Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Optional: garnish with lemon wedges and parsley before serving. Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for the last 1–2 minutes. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the crust for a mild kick.
