- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/3 cup soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions, for garnish

- In a large bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, milk, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, and ginger. Pour over meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Optional: If sauce is too thin, remove meatballs and thicken sauce with cornstarch slurry over medium heat, then return meatballs to the sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
- Serve over rice, noodles, or as an appetizer with toothpicks.
Notes
For even more flavor, sear the meatballs briefly in a skillet before adding them to the slow cooker. Adjust honey for desired sweetness.
