- 1/2 cup ripe mango chunks (fresh or frozen, thawed)
- 1–2 tsp honey or sweetener of choice (optional)
- 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
- 2 tbsp hot water (not boiling)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 cup ice cubes

- Prepare mango layer: Blend mango chunks until smooth. Add honey if desired and blend again.
- Spoon mango puree into the bottom of a tall glass.
- Add ice & milk: Fill the glass with ice cubes, then pour milk over the mango layer.
- Prepare matcha: In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and slightly frothy.
- Layer: Slowly pour the matcha over the milk to create a layered effect.
- Stir before drinking and enjoy immediately.
Notes
For a stronger matcha flavor, use 1 1/2 teaspoons matcha powder. Coconut or oat milk pairs especially well with mango. Adjust sweetness based on the ripeness of your mango.
