- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 1/4 cup water (optional, for thickening)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté 1 minute until fragrant.
- Mix honey and soy sauce, then pour into the skillet. Stir to combine.
- If a thicker sauce is desired, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce. Cook 1–2 minutes until thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and heat 2–3 minutes until coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
Serve over steamed rice or with roasted vegetables. Adjust honey for sweetness preference. Can also be made in the oven at 375°F for 25–30 minutes.
