Description

Refreshing and naturally sweet, this Homemade Mango Iced Tea combines real mango puree with brewed black tea for the perfect summer sip. It’s easy to make, full of tropical flavor, and way better than anything store-bought!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangos, peeled and diced
  • 3 cups water (for boiling)
  • 3 black tea bags (or green tea for variation)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Ice, for serving
  • Mango slices and mint, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make Mango Puree: Blend diced mango until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Brew the Tea: Bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and steep tea bags for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bags and stir in honey if using.
  3. Combine: In a large pitcher, mix mango puree, brewed tea, and 2 cups cold water. Stir well to combine.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and let flavors meld.
  5. Serve: Pour over ice and garnish with mango slices and mint if desired. Enjoy chilled!

Notes

Use canned mango pulp in place of fresh mango for convenience. Adjust sweetness to your liking—mangoes vary in ripeness. For a fizzy twist, replace the cold water with sparkling water just before serving.
