  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12 oz egg noodles, cooked
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add butter, onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Sauté until softened.
  4. Sprinkle flour over mixture and stir well. Cook 1 minute.
  5. Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring until smooth.
  6. Add Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
  7. Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream until creamy and heated through.
  8. Serve over egg noodles and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Avoid boiling after adding sour cream to keep the sauce smooth. Greek yogurt may be used for a lighter version.
