This Homemade Cranberry Sauce is sweet, tangy, and simple to make! π Perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any festive meal, it brings the taste of fresh cranberries to your table.

- 12 oz (340g) fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp orange zest (optional)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Add cranberries, orange zest, cinnamon, and salt. Return to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 10β15 minutes until cranberries burst and sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and let cool. The sauce will thicken more as it cools.
- Transfer to a serving dish or jar. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
