- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt

- Pour hot cream over the chocolate. Let sit for 2 minutes.

- Cover and refrigerate for 2–3 hours, or until firm enough to scoop.
- Scoop small portions and roll into balls using your hands.
- Roll truffles in desired coatings.
- Store refrigerated until ready to serve.
Notes
For easier rolling, lightly dust your hands with cocoa powder. Truffles keep well in the refrigerator for up to one week and can be frozen for longer storage.
