- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
- 1/2–3/4 cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and extra blueberries for garnish

- In a small saucepan, combine blueberries and 1/4 cup water. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes until blueberries soften.
- Mash blueberries and strain to remove skins, reserving juice.
- In a large pitcher, combine blueberry juice, lemon juice, and sugar or honey. Stir until sweetener dissolves.
- Add remaining cold water and stir well.
- Fill glasses with ice and pour lemonade over.
- Garnish with lemon slices and blueberries.
- Serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
Adjust sweetness to your taste preference. For a sparkling version, replace half the water with sparkling water. Can be prepared in advance and chilled; stir before serving.
