- 1 tbsp sugar

- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp cinnamon

- In a saucepan, heat water, butter, sugar, and salt until melted and boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until dough forms.
- Let cool slightly, then mix in vanilla and egg until smooth.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag or zip bag with the corner cut.
- Pipe small bite-size strips into the air fryer basket lined with parchment.
- Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes until golden.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar, then toss warm churro bites in coating.
Notes
Serve with dark chocolate sauce, honey, or Greek yogurt dip. For extra crunch, air fry 1–2 minutes longer.
