Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry or crescent dough and cut into thin strips.
  3. Wrap each sausage with dough strips to resemble mummies, leaving gaps for eyes.
  4. Place wrapped sausages on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until dough is golden and cooked through.
  7. Use mustard or ketchup to create eyes on each sausage mummy.
