Description

Halloween Crack is an irresistible treat made with layers of salty crackers, buttery toffee, chocolate, and festive Halloween candy. It’s crunchy, sweet, salty – and totally addicting! Perfect for spooky parties or snack gifts.


Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers (about 40)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup candy corn
  • 1/2 cup chopped mini peanut butter cups
  • 1/4 cup crushed pretzels (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick spray. Arrange crackers in a single layer.
  2. Make Toffee: In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly for 3 minutes.
  3. Pour: Immediately pour toffee over crackers and spread evenly. Bake for 5 minutes.
  4. Top with Chocolate: Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over hot toffee. Let sit 2 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
  5. Decorate: Add sprinkles, candy corn, PB cups, and crushed pretzels while chocolate is still soft.
  6. Chill & Break: Let cool completely, then refrigerate for 1 hour. Break into pieces and serve!

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Customize toppings with any favorite Halloween candy or drizzle with white chocolate for extra flair!
