Description
A dangerously addictive Halloween candy known as ‘Halloween Crack’! Sweet, salty, and crunchy, this candy is perfect for parties or trick-or-treaters with a festive Halloween twist.

- 1 sleeve saltine crackers (about 40 crackers)
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- Halloween-themed sprinkles or candies (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange saltine crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour the hot caramel mixture evenly over the saltine crackers.
- Bake for 5–7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Spread chocolate evenly once melted.
- Optional: sprinkle Halloween-themed candies or sprinkles while chocolate is still soft.
- Let cool completely, then break into pieces and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week. For extra flavor, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the chocolate before it sets.
