  • Optional: chili flakes or chili oil for heat

Instructions

  1. Prepare broth: In a large pot, combine broth, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Bring to a gentle boil.
  2. Add vegetables: Stir in Napa cabbage and shiitake mushrooms. Simmer for 5 minutes until vegetables soften.
  3. Cook gyoza: Add gyoza dumplings to the broth. Cook according to package instructions (usually 5-7 minutes) until dumplings float and are cooked through.
  4. Season: Remove ginger slices. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes.
  5. Serve: Ladle soup into bowls, garnish with sliced green onions. Serve hot.

Notes
