- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked
- Optional: parsley for garnish

- Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add butter, onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Cook until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over mixture and stir well. Cook 1 minute.
- Slowly add beef broth while stirring until smooth.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream until creamy.
- Serve over egg noodles and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Do not boil after adding sour cream to keep sauce smooth. Greek yogurt may be substituted for a lighter version.
