- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls or sub buns
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

- Cook beef: In the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Drain excess fat.
- Combine: Return cooked vegetables to the skillet with beef and stir to combine.
- Add cheese: Place provolone slices over the mixture. Cover skillet and cook 1–2 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Assemble sandwiches: Spoon beef and vegetable mixture onto hoagie rolls.
- Serve: Serve immediately with optional pickles or fries.
Notes
For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or a dash of hot sauce. These cheesesteaks can be made ahead and reheated for quick lunches.
