Description

These Gourmet Flatbreads are crisp, flavorful, and endlessly customizable—perfect for parties, appetizers, or an easy weeknight meal. Using store-bought or homemade flatbread, each one is topped with a blend of fresh ingredients that deliver restaurant-quality flavor with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 4 flatbreads or naan
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese or feta
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil or arugula
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Brush each flatbread lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic.
  3. Top with mozzarella, goat cheese or feta, tomatoes, and red onion.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are crisp.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil or arugula.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

Customize your flatbreads with prosciutto, caramelized onions, pesto, roasted vegetables, or a drizzle of hot honey. For extra crispiness, bake the flatbread directly on the oven rack for the final 2 minutes.
